Background & Development
Before officially launching our organization, we conducted a feasibility study to assess the sustainability and potential growth of our initiatives. In the previous year, our board members and staff voluntarily created and guided personalized travel plans for acquaintances visiting Toyama, gathering feedback and evaluating the project’s viability.
Key Activities:
・Over the past year, our team visited numerous traditional craft workshops across Toyama to understand their needs and challenges.
・We organized and guided five trial visits for acquaintances traveling from Tokyo to Toyama, testing the effectiveness of direct introductions to artisans and cultural experiences.
Through these efforts, we confirmed the potential for long-term sustainability and the impact of our mission, leading to the formal establishment of ToYAMA.
