Background & Development

Before officially launching ToYAMA, we conducted a feasibility study to assess the sustainability and potential growth of our initiatives. In the past year, our board members and staff voluntarily designed and guided personalized travel plans for acquaintances visiting Toyama, gathering feedback and evaluating the project’s viability.

Key Activities:

・Conducted visits to numerous traditional craft workshops across Toyama to understand the needs and challenges faced by artisans.

・Organized and guided five trial visits for acquaintances traveling from Tokyo to Toyama, testing the effectiveness of direct introductions to artisans and cultural experiences.

Through these efforts, we confirmed the potential for long-term sustainability and the impact of our mission, leading to the formal establishment of ToYAMA.
